"Space For Badgers"

Badger Trust has today launched a new campaign to promote human-badger co-existence and counter the trend of habitat and environmental destruction through ill-concieved, poorly executed and occasionally illegal property development.

Please read about this campaign, its importance and how you can get involved. I'll be talking about it more when I get some time as I sit on the Trust's "Property & Development Working Party". We're working hard on developing accredited training programmes for planning authorities and ecologists, challenging some of the existing regulations and poor practises in place and how we might work closer with Natural England to develop more robust standing advice (perhaps even implementing rules) to local authorities.

You can read the campaign launch details and information here, so please do!

Thank you!
