Badger Trust - Regional zoom meetings.

Sally Jones, Groups Coordinator for Badger Trust, has organised some regional online Zoom meetings for any member of a Badger Trust group to attend as this was a key thing requested in the most recent survey of member groups. These meetings are open to absolutely anyone who's a paid-up member of our group and should be really useful and informative.

It's a chance to hear what the Trust is doing in a less formal setting than the "Group's Quarterly Meeting" and, more importantly, it's designed to be an open forum for groups to connect with each other, ask Sally questions, ask each other for advice, discuss any issues they are facing, etc.

Attendees will be Sally and any affiliated group members (which means any of you!) who have registered to attend. If requested for a specific meeting, Sally can invite other Badger Trust staff, Trustees, or external parties to discuss a specific topic, etc.

The frequency of these meetings can be decided by group members and Sally is happy to be led by attendees on this. For ease, and to get a good ratio of groups, Sally has split England & Wales (including Northern Island) into 3 for the meetings. We've been placed in the East & South East group and our first meeting is taking place on Thursday 22nd June. Details of the other groups in our region are below, together with a link for you to register to attend.

EAST & SOUTH EAST (to include: Norfolk, Cambridgeshire, Suffolk, Essex, Hertfordshire, Middlesex, Kent, Surrey, Sussex, Berkshire, Hampshire).

EAST & SOUTH EAST MEETING: Thursday 22 June 2023, 7pm: REGISTER HERE

If you are unable to make your regional meeting, please feel free to let Sally know and you can, of course, attend another. We want them to be as convenient for you as possible and to be led by issues or topics that you want to talk about.

These initial meetings need you to register via Eventbrite, but that may change moving forward to make it simpler.

The meetings will be scheduled for 1.5 hours initially but the length can vary as necessary, They really are meant to be flexible for you, so will depend on how much or how little you want to talk about.

You can email me or Sally about any topics you want to discuss in advance or let us know on the day, at the meeting. It is up to you!
